I was out 3 days last week with the flu and writing was out of the question. So I thought I’d share a bit of humor this morning (even though it’s Tuesday). I’m convinced that God has a sense of humor and that our laughter is likely pleasing to His ears. My husband knew I was feeling better Sunday night when I laughed heartily at a show we were watching.
Hopefully you will find these humorous and perhaps even laugh out loud at a couple of them:
· The peacemaking meeting originally scheduled for today has been cancelled due to a conflict.
· Ladies, don’t forget the rummage sale. It’s a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. (Don’t forget to bring your husbands!)
· Our youth basketball team is back in action Friday night at 8 in the Rec Hall. Come out and watch us stomp Sacred Heart of Mary.
· Don’t forget next month’s Prayer & Fasting conference. Registration is only $50, and that price includes all meals and snacks.
· Reminder: Housing is needed for the visiting mission drama team next week. If you can put up with these performers for a day or two, please notify the pastor.
· Hungry? Then come pot-licking with us in the Fellowship Hall after the service next Sunday!
· Please continue to pray for Mrs. Witherspoon and everyone who has to deal with her.
· Softball game against Our Lady of Prophecy next Thursday will be cancelled due to rain. Trust us.
